Bansko Bike Fest is Bansko's annual cycling festival. An event where mountain enduro trails, road bends, and the spirit of adventure meet the atmosphere of a true festival. Whether you're an experienced cyclist with thousands of kilometres under your belt, or you simply want to spend a pleasant weekend with your family, everyone is welcome here.

The festival offers a variety of events for all ages and levels: a bike rally with a thousand metres of elevation gain, a gourmet tour ending with a feast, a road tour with a police escort, training sessions led by experienced cyclists, children's programmes, bike tests, exhibitors, and a party zone. All in one place in Bansko.

In Bansko, Todorovden will again be solemnly celebrated - one of the most accurate spring holidays, also called Horse Easter. This year, the holiday is celebrated on February 28 - six weeks before Easter.

With the support of the Municipality of Bansko and the Nikola Vaptsarov National Community Center, local farmers and horse lovers prepare a rich festive program with traditional rituals, procession and city-wide fun. Everyone is welcome to join and share the atmosphere of this beloved Bulgarian holiday.

Holiday program:

• 11:00 A.M. - Official start with a ceremonial water light on the street. "King Simeon" to the city stadium.

• Procession: After the Water Festival, the festive procession will pass through the streets "Tsar Simeon", "Bulgaria", "Todor Kableshkov", "Naiden Gerov" and "Ikonom Chuchulain", will cross the roundabout and end at "Nikola Vaptsarov" Square.

• 12:00 p.m. - Ritual feeding of horses and great folk celebration.

Residents and guests of Bansko will have the opportunity to enjoy a holiday that combines respect to traditions, the beauty of horses and the spirit of Bulgarian customs.
