Freeride and Off-Piste Guiding

Freeride and Off-Piste Guiding

Freeride skiing or backcountry skiing as it is known in other parts of the world describes a particular type of skiing which takes place on a natural off-piste terrain and includes deep powder snow and steep runs. Free riders do not follow a marked route and ski outside of the ski main areas, they discover the freedom of untracked runs guided by an experienced guide familiar with the area.

A great way to experience skiing in Bansko is by joining one of our guided tours on offer.

Bansko off-piste tours are available from December to April each year.
