Overview

The Belitsa Bear Sanctuary (formerly known as The Dancing Bears Park) is now home for twenty former dancing bears who now live in an area of ​​120,000 square meters, they live in natural conditions that help them learn to gradually adjust back to normal life. 

There is a guided tour every half an hour at the park and we can offer a different ways of travelling to the park either by car, train, mountain bike or off road safari.

Bear Park trip by car.

Don't miss the opportunity to see the inhabitants of the Bear Park.

You will be collected from your hotel and transported by car to the bear park at Belitsa. This well known Bear Park is a new home for the rescued bears that were kept in captivity for entertainment or in adverse conditions. At the park you can watch a film about the work of the trust and a special guide will walk and talk with you through the park.

After finishing the sightseeing you will then be transported back to Bansko.

Duration: 5 – 6 hours

Bear Park trip by train.

You will be collected from your hotel and transported by car to the railway station. The train does not go all the way to the bear park so you will be met at the station in Belitsa and taken by car to the bear park.

At the park you can watch a film about the work of the trust and a special guide will walk and talk with you through the park. After finishing the sightseeing you will then be transported back to Bansko.
